The 2023 Top Solar Designer award-winner is Lucas Titolo, VP of engineering at New Jersey-based Solar Landscape.

Titolo has been instrumental to the growth of community solar developer Solar Landscape, supervising a team of seven in the design, engineering and procurement of the company’s projects.
Over the course of his career, he has overseen the design of more than 200 commercial rooftop solar projects. Community solar has been his biggest inspiration yet, designing arrays that will benefit many hundreds of subscribers.
His commercial rooftop background has helped Solar Landscape site community solar arrays closer to the people they serve and eliminate the need for costly additional transmission lines required with more remote ground-mount projects.
Titolo’s leadership is helping Solar Landscape expand into new markets and giving the company confidence in eventual nationwide aspirations.
