SIPP Americas is expanding its Canadian trenchless rehabilitation network through a licensing agreement with Watertight Lining Solutions, bringing Resiline structural pipe lining technology to additional water and industrial pipeline markets.
(P&GJ) — SIPP Americas LLC is expanding its trenchless pipe rehabilitation presence in Canada through a licensing agreement with Watertight Lining Solutions Inc. (WLS), which will become a licensed applicator of the company’s Resiline structural lining products.
Based in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, WLS will offer Resiline solutions for the rehabilitation of potable and non-potable waterlines and industrial pipelines. The spray-applied polyurea system is designed for trenchless rehabilitation of pressurized and gravity-fed pipelines, with Resiline 320 and 325 certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 standards for drinking water applications.
“Expanding our reach into Canada with a partner as experienced and respected as WLS is a major milestone,” SIPP Americas CEO Giacomo “Jack” Conte said. “Their technical expertise, regional knowledge, and commitment to high-quality service make them an ideal applicator of our Resiline product line.”
Jim McLean, vice president of Watertight Lining Solutions, said the partnership will allow the company to expand its use of trenchless rehabilitation technology as utilities seek ways to extend the service life of existing water infrastructure. He said the approach can help utilities rehabilitate more pipeline within existing budgets while reducing construction time and public disruption.
