Texas Gas Output Breaks Record in May as Crude Holds Steady

According to TXOGA’s estimates, Texas crude oil production remained steady at 5.7 million barrels per day in May 2025, while natural gas gross withdrawals rose to 36.9 billion cubic feet per day. Natural gas liquids (NGLs) production remained strong at 4 MMbbl/d.
