Reality star Kim Kardashian faces criticism from Greenpeace for her latest Skims lingerie promo, where she references the climate crisis.
In the video, she mentions melting glaciers and rising sea levels, promoting a bra with a built-in nipple.
While Skims pledges to donate 10% of bra sales to 1% For The Planet, an environmental organisation, Greenpeace contends that Kardashian is “co-opting the language of climate activists to promote a plastic product made from petrochemicals.”
The charity calls it an “obvious case of greenwashing,” asserting that the ad diverts attention from more impactful climate actions.
