Energy supplier OVO has launched a new reward scheme allowing customers to bank five free solar panels.
The panels can be redeemed and installed when customers choose an OVO solar and battery package.
This initiative is part of OVO’s Beyond programme, designed to support the switch to renewable energy.
Customers can start receiving solar panels by signing up through the OVO app.
Over two years, they can collect up to five panels, which can be used within three years.
The scheme aims to ease the transition to solar power without upfront costs and is transferable if customers move house, benefiting renters as well.
OVO Beyond has seen nearly half a million sign-ups since its May launch.
The programme offers savings and discounts on energy-related products and services, including EV miles and future air source heat pump incentives.
