Good Energy has confirmed a £1.7 million investment in Zapmap Limited, a provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions.
This investment, facilitated through a convertible loan note, strengthens Good Energy’s existing stake in Zapmap to 49.9% of the issued share capital.
The funds will bolster Zapmap’s expansion of its business-to-business offerings, Zapmap Spark and Zapmap Insights, focusing on the UK market while exploring opportunities in the US and Europe.
Nigel Pocklington, Chief Executive Officer of Good Energy and Chair of Zapmap, said: “Zapmap is playing a critical role not only to hundreds of thousands of EV drivers but to the UK’s decarbonisation pathway through the data and technology it has built.
